ASMITAA is an independently-run initiative launched by its Founders with a singular mission: to uncover, document, and preserve personal treasured textile keepsakes that often go unacknowledged yet hold deep cultural and emotional value. While these textiles may not currently be of national interest, their thoughtful documentation, preservation, and curation on a shared platform can make them accessible to a wider audience – transforming personal treasures into collective heritage.
To operate the archival facility at ASMITAA and run the various initiatives we undertake from time to time we try to keep our operational costs as low as possible.
