RBI e-mandate compliance for auto-renewal — per what we flagged earlier, recurring card/UPI payments in India legally require a pre-debit notification within a specific window (usually 24 hours to a few days before the charge) separate from a general "heads up" reminder. This auto-renewal email likely satisfies the spirit of that requirement, but I'd confirm the exact timing/format rules with your payment gateway provider (Razorpay, PayU, etc. all publish compliance guidance on this) since the technical requirement is specific and enforced by RBI.

Auto-renewal consent language — you mention auto-renewal as an option, but you'll need explicit opt-in consent language and an easy opt-out mechanism (this is increasingly a regulatory requirement for recurring payments in India — RBI's e-mandate rules require pre-debit notification, which you've mentioned, but also clear consent capture at signup).
