They form a major component of the human capital, especially in India, as the tradition of passing down valuable textile objects from one generation to the next is rooted in Indian culture.

Through her paper titled The Power of Textile Narratives in the Covid-19 Era, Sareekah Agarwaal endeavors to uncover the fascinating stories embedded within valuable textile objects held by select Indian families and preserve them through digitization. It also aims to discuss the challenges faced by the owners of these treasured keepsakes and suggest possible solutions to ensure their continued preservation for future generations.
