ASMITAA warmly invites you to aaina – an evocative exhibition that explores the deep emotional and cultural connections embedded in treasured textiles. Conceived and curated by our Founder, Sareekah Agarwaal, the exhibition opens on May 12, 2023 and will remain on view from May 13-21, 2023 at The Art Gallery, Kamaladevi Complex, India International Centre, New Delhi.

The inaugural ceremony will be graced by distinguished guests: Ms. Purnima Rai, Former President, Delhi Crafts Council, Dr. Ruchira Ghose, Former Chairperson, National Crafts Museum, and Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).

aaina offers a rare glimpse into personal textile collections, each woven with stories of love, resilience, celebration, and memory. These cherished pieces are not only a testament to fine craftsmanship but also vessels of lived experience – brought to life through heartfelt narratives.
