The exhibition Abhivyakti – Expressions of the Loom from the Vault of a Visionary, currently on view at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, celebrates the richness and diversity of India‘s textile heritage.

From Gujarat‘s intricate Mata-ni-Pachedi and finely crafted Kachchh shawls to the celebrated weaves of Banaras and Tamil Nadu, alongside the exquisite embroideries of Uttar Pradesh and Kashmir, the exhibition brings together an extraordinary selection of textiles from a visionary‘s personal textile collection.
